“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

Quote by Viktor Frankl

About Me:
Hi, I’m Lauren Edwards (formerly Caffee). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon. I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from Portland State University, and hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. The early part of my mental health career was spent working in eating disorder treatment at higher levels of care. I have also spent years working in a primary care setting, seeing individuals of all ages with various mental health challenges.
I am originally from Portland, OR, and genuinely enjoy our rainy and cozy weather. In my free time, I find joy spending time with my family and friends, eating good food (oatmeal is my passion), playing golf, running, and traveling.
I understand seeking out therapy can be overwhelming. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for you to develop tools to live a life most aligned with your values.

  • Individual Therapy : $150 (50-55 min)

The session fee is due at the time of service. Credit cards may be entered in the client portal and will be kept on file for billing.

Insurance

I am an in-network provider with PacificSource, Aetna, and Moda.

If I am not in-network with your insurance provider, you may have out-of-network benefits. When using out-of-network benefits, you are responsible for the full session fee at the time of your appointment. I can provide a monthly super-bill for potential reimbursement at your individual plan's rates.

Questions to consider asking your insurance provider:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions am I allowed that are covered by insurance?

  • Have I met my out of pocket deductible?

  • Are out of network providers covered? And at what cost or percent?

Good Faith Estimate

If paying out of pocket for services, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about Good Faith Estimates, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Cancellation Policy

I require 24-hour notice of cancellation or reschedule. A $100 fee will be charged to the credit card on file if you do not show up for our scheduled appointment, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice. Insurance does not cover this fee. Thank you for understanding.
